Youtube and Twitch megastar Syndicate will be headlining Glasgow’s Resonate Total Gaming festival in October.
The festival promises something for everyone with an over 18s hall, a kids zone featuring Minecraft and a retro gaming zone. An indie zone also promises a sneak peek at a number of upcoming indie titles.
A variety of gaming activities will also be on offer. Nintendo is set to have a big presence with the upcoming Super Mario Party, as well as Splatoon 2. A pre-release look at Spyro Reignited Trilogy will feature, along with mainstays like Minecraft and Fortnite. An E-sports hall and tournament is advertised with details still to come.
British YouTube star Syndicate, who recently hit 2.6 million Twitch followers, will be offering a meet and greet alongside other big names.
Those on a gaming merch hunt can expect a fair variety of stalls to browse. Exhibitors and partners so far include Beyond Cosmic, Geek Gear, Eclipse Controllers and even Costco to name only a few. Aspiring game designers will have something to sink their teeth into with the BAFTA Young Game Designer Workshop and other interactive workshops featured. For the first time in Scotland the Syndicate Original booth will be offering exclusive Syndicate merch.
Resonate Total Gaming festival will take place over the weekend of 19-21 October. Tickets are available now on their website, priced at £17.50 for general admission and £47.50 for the weekend pass.
