Sci-fi stars to appear at Glasgow comic con

A host of TV and video game stars are set to appear at this year’s MCM Scotland Comic Con.

Notable The Walking Dead stars Khary Payton and Cooper Andrews – who portray King Ezekial and Jerry – will headline alongside Ross Marquand, Lew Temple, Joshua Mikel, Jayson Warner Smith, Macsen Lintz and Madison Lintz.

Other scheduled acting credits inlcude Zach Callison (Steven Universe) and Jeremy
Shada (Adventure Time), alongside Vic Mignogna (Full Metal Alchemist), and Jess Harnell (Transformers). Merlin fans can also expect appearances from Alexander Vlahos and Rupert Young.

Comic Con

Some familiar voices for Overwatch fans are scheduled with appearances from CharSci-fi stalet Chung, Lucie Pohl and Gaku Space, who play D.Va, Mercy, and Genji respectively. Video game voice acting royalty Nolan North (Assassins Creed, Uncharted, Destiny etc.) and Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Batman: Arkham Knight, Middle Earth: Shadow of War etc.) are also due to a appear in a voice acting singularity likely to kill us all.

MCM’s Comic Village will be headlined by Eisner Award-winning comics writer and screen writer Brian Azzarello, author to a number of DC classics, as well as the screen writer behind Batman: The Killing Joke (2016).

Comic Con

Glasgow,” says Mary Franklin, Global Event Director at ReedPOP. “From DC Comics legend Brian Azzarello to an
entire lineup of guests from The Walking Dead, our goal is to make this an MCM Comic Con to remember.”

MCM Comic Con Scotland is Scotland’s largest pop culture festival, celebrating all things geeky from TV to comics to cosplay. The weekend long event will be hitting Glasgow SEC over September 22-23 with tickets currently available MCM website.
