Glasgow City will welcome Cypriot side, Somatio Barcelona FA to Petershill Park on Thursday for the second leg of their UEFA Women’s Champions League Round of 32 tie.
The Scottish champions hold a 2-0 lead after goals from Hayley Lauder and Leanne Crichton secured an away win, and City’s first in Europe since 2014.
City will be without captain Leanne Ross after her red card at the Tsirio Stadium in Limassol while the Cypriot side will also be without their captain due to suspension.
Victory for Scott Booth’s side would send them through to the Last 16 for the first time since the 2014-15 season when they reached the quarter-finals.
Both sides came through the group stage in August with Glasgow City winning group 3 after a thrilling final day shoot-out between them, Anderlecht and Gornik Leczna while Somatio eased through their group with three wins from three in a group containing FC Minsk, Slovan Bratislava and Olimpija Ljubljana.
The hosts come into this match on the back of a 5-0 win over Rangers on Sunday as they continue their quest for a twelfth consecutive league title.
The game is a 7.30pm kick off at Petershill Park with tickets available on the night.
